Spravato Treatment at Path Behavioral Healthcare

A New Option for Treatment-Resistant Depression

At Path, we understand that depression doesn’t always respond to standard medications. For individuals who have tried two or more antidepressants without sufficient relief, Spravato® (esketamine) nasal spray may be an effective option.

What is Spravato®?

Spravato® is an FDA-approved prescription nasal spray used in combination with an oral antidepressant. It is designed for adults with:

  • Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) – when other medications have not worked.
  • Major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions.

Unlike traditional antidepressants, Spravato® works on a different brain pathway, offering the potential for faster symptom relief.

What is Spravato®?

  • In-clinic administration only – Spravato® must be given in a certified treatment center like ours.
  • Monitored sessions – You will be supervised by our medical team during and after each treatment.
  • Observation period – For safety, patients remain in our clinic for at least 2 hours following each session.
  • Personalized plan – We work closely with you and your provider to develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
